「ブルーラビット」の名前は、京都の高山寺に所蔵される「鳥獣戯画」に登場するウサギから着想を得ています。「鳥獣戯画」は12〜13世紀に描かれた世界最古の漫画とされ、日本人に愛され続けてきた作品です。ウサギは迷いなく前進する姿から進歩の象徴とされ、賢さや献身のシンボルでもあります。青白い満月の下で餅つくウサギの姿は、私たちの目標とする高貴で唯一無二の存在でありながら、人々に親しまれるブランド精神を反映しています。

東京・田園調布で、スコットランド人が丁寧にスピリッツを製造している「Blue Rabbit Distillery」。最新のオランダ製蒸留機を使いながらも製造からボトリング、ラベリング、パッケージングまで全て手作業で行い、一つひとつに愛情を込めています。日本や英国、ヨーロッパから厳選した高品質な原材料を使い、独自のレシピで調合。特別な木製キャップで新鮮さを保ち、クラフトマンの誇りを体現した飲み物を提供しています。一口ごとに、こだわり抜いたフレーバーをお楽しみ下さい。

Introducing PARADOXURUS — Aged Kopi Luwak Gin, the newest release from the Blue Rabbit Distillery ESSENTIA Collection. Its name comes from Paradoxurus hermaphroditus, the Latin scientific name for the Asian palm civet — the remarkable animal at the heart of the story of Kopi Luwak. The civet eats ripe coffee cherries, and the beans pass through its digestive system before being collected, cleaned and processed to produce one of the world’s most unusual and expensive coffees. Using these extraordinary Kopi Luwak coffee beans, PARADOXURUS brings together the aromatic brightness of juniper with deep, roasted coffee complexity. The gin is then aged on lightly toasted Japanese Red Oak, adding warmth, depth and another layer of character. Rich. Aromatic. Intriguing. BLUE RABBIT DISTILLERY、新時代の幕開け🐇✨️ 本日9月8日、Blue Rabbit Distilleryは大きな進化の時を迎えます。 数か月にわたる開発を経て、このたびBlue Rabbitのために私自身がデザインした、まったく新しいオリジナルボトルを発表できることを大変うれしく思います。私たちのスピリッツに、ガラスを通して新たな個性を与えるために生まれたボトルです。 デザインの着想源となったのは、古代ギリシャのクラシック建築です。リズミカルに連なる縦のフルーティング（溝）は、ギリシャ建築の列柱を思わせます。その均整の取れた美しさ、反復するリズム、そして何千年もの時を超えて受け継がれてきた優雅さ。私は、そうした建築の美意識をガラスで表現したいと考えました。クラシックでありながら現代的で、一目でそれと分かる、まぎれもなくBlue Rabbitらしいデザインです。 ボトルは新しくなりますが、中身は変わりません。これまでと変わらないスピリッツとレシピ、そして少量生産ならではの丁寧なものづくりが、これからも私が蒸留所で手がけるすべての中心にあります。 本日9月8日より、Blue Rabbit Distilleryのすべての製品を順次新しいボトルへと切り替えてまいります。各製品のボトリングと発売にあわせて、現在のボトルから徐々に移行していく予定です。 これは、単なるパッケージの変更ではありません。 Blue Rabbitの新しい時代の始まりです。 変わらぬ格別なスピリッツを、新たな美しさとともに。 — Mark Smyth 創業者／蒸留家 Blue Rabbit Distillery A NEW ERA FOR BLUE RABBIT DISTILLERY Today, 8 September, marks an important evolution for Blue Rabbit Distillery.
